Support & Enhancement of MHSAA Tournaments

At the 2023 MHSAA Individual Final meet held at Ford Field, the Grand March Foundation was introduced. The roll-out was subtle. The goal was to introduce the mission and name. Today and going forward, growth is our goal, and you or your company can help achieve it.

Purpose

The foundation was created to "provide additional, superfluous, support for the Final MHSAA Individual and Team Tournament events, to provide enhancement…to benefit competitors, referees, coaches, and event workers."

Status

The Grand March Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) corporation. DLN:26053711004082, granted November 14, 2022.

Vision

According to the Articles of Incorporation, the Grand March Foundation, Inc. will be supported by gifts, donations, and fundraising by individual, corporate, and non-profit benefactors. The Board of Directors will annually accept requests from the tournament management to provide support and appreciation for those who provide the people power to conduct the tournament. Such support will be beyond the annual stipend paid to these volunteers. Additionally, the foundation will develop programs to recognize participants, coaches, and others instrumental in the conduct of the program.
